This post is a part of the 'Shave or Crave' movement in association with BlogAdda.com
"Every time I go and shave, I assume there's someone else on the planet shaving. So I say, I'm gonna go shave, too."

This was the sms I sent to him before going for the movie and "Hahaha" was the reply I got. I was so pissed that I had almost said no for the movie but at the last minute I changed my mind and there we were at the theatre waiting for the gates to be opened. I was at my usual best, chirpy and happy. This time I had my hands full of popcorn, samosas and coke which is not usually the case. Just few minutes were left for the movie to start and I can see the excitement and eagerness on his face to watch the movie hot scenes.

Scene 1

O la la was the song going on and it was me trying to get cosy with him. I came close to his ears and murmured 'A clean shaved men always get lucky' and started to gulp the food that I had intentionally purchased so as to not allow him to come close to me.

Scene 2

She was totally drunk, standing on the bonnet of the car, dancing and seducing Tushhar and came a big wet kiss. Seeing this he too tried to come closer to me and kiss me. I also went with the flow, coming close with just a centimetre gap between our lips and backed off saying 'To get notty first be a hotty with a clean shave and rest will be taken care of.'

Scene 3

This was the scene which made our emotions run high, kept us drooling and left us craving for more and more. And at that very moment I took him closer to me and said 'Getting cosy in car is always fun and with a clean shaved men it's double the fun and much hotter.'

Scene 4

He loved Silk. And eventually even she fell for him. They kissed each other and he again tried to get closer to me. This time even before he could do anything I said 'He is Emraan Hashmi and you are not. So better be clean shaved or just keep waiting.'

By the end of the movie I sensed that he had got the message that a clean shave is a must for a girl to be closer to her guy just as a beautifully groomed girl makes a guy come closer to her.

And within no time I saw a pack of Gillette Fusion razor and blades with a bottle of Gillette shaving cream in his hand waving at me and asking me to experience the silk which was hidden beneath his sometimes strong beard and sometimes his evening stubble.

So what are you guys waiting for? Go shave, and make your girl drool for you!!

This post has been first published by me for Parentous an initiative by BlogAdda. Here are the few lines of the poem penned by me.

The first few letters that you murmured
Were not at all easy to pick
Trying and failing at each attempt
We gave up on what does it mean

You kept your ears and eyes wide open
To ask us for all those things which
We use and play with once
You can utter those words clearly

Both of us were happy and dancing when
You courageously uttered the word ‘Mobile’
And came a shock of the life when
You blatantly refused to eat unless we hand you the mobile

Off to meet my friends on a Sunday evening,
In expectation of having a great time
I took an auto for my friend's place

Loud music was playing which I seemed to enjoy
Without realising the auto guy staring at me from the rear view mirror
Enjoying my facial expressions as I lip sing the songs

On reaching the destination while tendering the fare
He turned around with eyes wide open
In anticipation of checking me out top to bottom which he did

Ignorant then of what was happening
I reached at the venue where friends had already arrived
Exchanging smiles and handshakes

We smiled, chatted and played
Even exchanged notes
Until a cousin of my friend entered the house

Friendly was his nature
As he mingled and got along with all of us
With occasional glance at my face

Somehow he managed to sit beside me
His fingers running through my back
Making me uncomfortable but I stayed silent

Waiting for the first opportunity to rush back home
Which came only after I was subjected to
His touch of my knees
Passing of his fingers through my hairs
Rubbing of elbow to my chest

And after which he was subjected to
A One Tight Slap on his cheek
Not enough it seemed, I landed him a second

And rushed towards the door
Sprinted and ran like never before
With a sense of fear and satisfaction as well

Knowing what I did was correct
Have emerged as a strong girl
Ready to fight, speak up and take a stand wherever necessary

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 34; the thirty-fourth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is "Of-Course, I'm insane"

Sitting in the most frequented room during those days,
Occupying the corner table we sat with our group,
One of them suggested we play Truth & Dare,
And I proposed to you taking it not as a game,
And Of-Course you thought I was insane.

On the beach we were sitting side by side,
Hands held tight gazing at the sunset,
Something was happening inside me but dint knew what,
As I asked whether I can kiss you,
And of-course you thought I was insane.

It was our biggest day till date as two souls became one,
Where bonds like these are meant to last forever or so,
And so I wished to wake up everyday to the sound of your breath,
To the warmth of your lips with the feel of your heart beating with mine,
And of-course you thought I was insane.

The other day we were driving down the hill,
Cool breeze blowing making your untied hair enjoy the freedom,

With fresh sun rays falling on your side highlighting your beautiful face,
Craving me to stop driving and be more and more closer to you,
And of-course you thought I was insane.

The next evening I was completely taken aback by you,
With candles, dim lights and soft music enhancing the beauty of our home,
As you were standing in a corner capturing all my expressions,
Coming closer to me and whispering "Baby, this is just the start",
Making me think," Of-Course, I'm insane but not as much as you Baby!"
